After a disappointing loss in front of an electric home crowd at Beaver Stadium, the Nittany Lions look to take the field again this week against the Purdue Boilermakers. Purdue's season hasn't exactly gone according to plan, Purdue picked to compete for a Big Ten Championship this year, is 3-5 overall with an 0-4 record in conference. Both teams are looking to get back on track this week looking for what would be an important win for both teams.
Prediction: Ross-Aid Stadium in West Lafayette may be just like a ghost town this weekend. With Purdue fans angered and annoyed with the poor play of Danny Hope's Boilermakers don't expect too many spectators at Saturday's game. The distraught home crowd may even be a distraction this weekend for the home team. While I could see the desperate Boilers making one last stand, Penn State is superior on both sides of the ball. I expect this Penn State team to rebound like they have all season this week and get the win. McGloin will throw for two TD's and Belton will add a 100-yard rushing performance with 2 scores as well.
Penn State- 28
Purdue- 14
